נָתַץ(b. h.) to chip off; to tear down. Neg. XIII, 2 בזמן שהוא נוֹתֵץ נותץ את שלו when he has to tear down (Lev. 14:45), he must chip off his part of the house, contrad. to חָלַץ; Tosef. ib. VI, 10.
